#Prep4PWDs Twitter Chat about Emergency Prep on Sept. 15

#Prep4PWD

There will be a Twitter chat about emergency preparedness and disability tomorrow at 2 p.m. Pacific/5 p.m. Eastern. This chat is being sponsored by the Disability Visibility Project in partnership with the National Council on Disability as part of National Preparedness Month. To join the conversation live, go to Twubs:Hashtags. You can also participate by following @DisVisibility on Twitter. Please use the hashtags #Prep4PWDs and #NatlPrep when you tweet.

Event organizer Alice Wong says if you can’t make it to the chat, no worries. “Feel free to share your stories, recommendations and ideas on emergency preparedness anytime before or after the one-hour chat and keep the conversation going,” says Wong. Wong is founder and project coordinator of the Disability Visibility Project and an activist in the San Francisco area.
