Quads Regain Some Hand Function After Stem Cell Trial

Michael Fraser could barely pick up a key before his participation in a year-long stem cell trial. Now he can grasp a key, insert it into a lock and turn it. And he isn’t the only one. At least one other quad in the preliminary study regained specific motor abilities, bladder awareness and core strength after the injection of 20 million stem cells. Advocates Call for Boycott of ‘Disability Snuff Film’ Me-Before-Euthanasia

“You Before Me” will debut in theaters tomorrow, but you should avoid it like an ableist plague, say disability advocates from LA to London.
