Last month I tried Dronabinol, no luck. It's only supposed to help with appetite, I don't much need help with that anyway, I could use some help though. Pot didn't help that much either, being less constipated would help for sure. It's for chemotherapy patients mostly. Smoking pot, some pot... works excellent for central pain. I saw a debate type show on PBS about a new pill made of synthetic cannabinoids, different from Dronabinol but I didn't get the name. It's more likely to help with Central pain. All the side affects are the same as regular pot, accept for the handcuffs, jail time etc. That's what it says on most of the net. And it won't make my apartment smell like excellent skunk buds even with just a couple plants, it ain't weed. Hopefully my insurance covers it. Putting smoke in my lungs is still not something I'm willing to do unless it's the absolute last resort. I like the idea of the vaporizer, but it's still way beyond my budget and living in low income housing subjects me to what feels like socialist, almost communist rules and control, I would get kicked out for growing my own. Over time that may change. Maybe not with Obama n the big money who really pulls the strings.... I used to like smoking just the leaves, literally 3 or four palm sized leaves dried in the sun helped my pain. But not without the help of much less than half my reg dose of methadone, and spasms medz. At that low of a dosage of opiates etc. I could poop just fine with working up a dang sweat!

I hope to come back with good news in a few weeks. The new stuff I found is Nabilone, aka Cesamate. Has anyone tried it? I can't imagine taking methadone, baclofen and diazepam for the rest of my life. I'd rather have a short life without suffering than a long life feeling like I'm soaking in acid. But I hate the fact that many normal people just assume I'm addicted. very freakin insulting! I just found out that a lot of the staff at my pain management doctor also have to deal with prejudice. People think their just glorified drug dealers. What a dang Crock a Crap!

Anyone with experience with this new drug out there? I like the pills idea much better.

"They" grow even the stuff for the cannibus clubs in our national parks, and any fool with a lie that it helps with pain management can get a card. They're at least 300 bux here in Ca. They should at least tax the dang crap. The chemicals they use to grow it slowly working it's way up the food chain and poisoning everything that eats or breathes with the pesticides, and fertilizers that destroy everything that our great grandkids will need to eat n breath, and the water of course. Unfortunately most of our offspring will be paying the price for us to eat good steaks, soda sweetened with GMO tainted high fructose corn syrup, and endless other toxins we haven't even found out about yet.

It would take four earth size planets for us to produce enough grain for the whole world to eat as much meat as we do in America.

PS next time you smoke a lil pot, think about the volume of weed our society smokes, and the all the toxins you burn along with your pain killer. The side affects to our society as a whole, and the health care costs our hippie baby boomers are gonna need for putting all that smoke in their lungs. I doubt my daughter would be doing so well in school if she was a pot head. If she was, she would be one of the very rare and few that could party just a lil bit still succeed. The taxes for our health care is gonna really piss off her generation. It's a miracle I graduated, I was never there!!, and asleep in class when I waszzzzzzz but look at how smart I am now? (lil joke)
