My wife and I own a beachfront condo on Sanibel Island, http://sanibelsanddollarc201.com/. and have tried to make it as wheelchair accessible as possible. Although there is a place on Sanibel Island that rents beach wheelchairs, http://www.billysrentals.com/bikes/challenged/ we are considering the purchase of a beach wheelchair for some of our guests to use. We are familiar with the Landeez, http://www.landeez.com and the Hippocampe, http://www.hippocampe.co.uk/product.php Does anyone have personal experience with one or both of these beach wheelchairs? If so, would you please give us some feedback? Are there other beach wheelchairs that we should consider? Because all of us have different sizes and needs, is it even practical for us to make such a wheelchair available for our guests? Any thoughts/suggestions will be most appreciated. Thanks.
