All right, now that I've introduced myself...I'll get down to it.
I've given oral sex to the guy in my life, and my neck is KILLING ME. I don't know if it's the angle or what but both times I have done it, the next day my neck is all messed up.
Any suggestions on positions for him and I? I think it also has to do with the "intensity", and I don't know how I could lessen it and still make him feel good?

Maybe you're tense and don't know it? Make sure you're relaxed and in a comfy position. Practice makes perfect.

First off, is he in a chair?
If yes, then are you giving him a BJ whilst he's in the chair?
You don't say just what position your in when you give him oral so it's not going to be easy making any suggestions as to how you might get more comfortable.
You suggest it might be down to "intensity". By that do you mean that you are tensed up yourself concentrating on trying to achieve an ejaculation or do you mean you are using a lot of and prolonged amount of head movement during the act?
Is he well endowed meaning that you are having to be careful not to take his penis too far into you mouth for fear of gagging as he hits the back of your throat or is he nor so well endowed meaning you're having to strain your neck in order to get enough of his penis into your mouth to do anything with?
I'm sure it will just be something in your technique that can easily be overcome with practice.

From the positions you say you are using I shouldn't think they would be causing a sore neck. Maybe you could try taking him into your mouth from the side, with you partly laying along side him with him still on his back.
I don't think being light with your actions would be much of an issue though I do like a woman to have a tight grip on my penis when I get oral sex. I would suggest the visual aspect is a big turn on for him so try taking things slow in such a way that he can see what you are doing.
Try using one hand with a firm tight grip at the same time, that will make his erection more proud and increase the swelling and sensitivity of the head of his penis. Move your mouth slowly up and down on his penis pausing occasionally to tun your tongue around and kiss the head of his penis. Then try some faster strokes with both your hand and mouth before going back to slow caresses with your lips tongue and hand.

The average vaginal canal is only about 4 inches deep, plus an additional average of 2 inches after arousal when the uterus liftsout of the way to allow for deeper penetration...
that's an average of only 6 inches of "penile accommodations."

Yes, I think that must be it. I am tensing up a lot from the gag reflex. I think laying on the side will help. I don't know if softer will work. I'll honestly give it a shot. Perhaps telling him I am in pain is an option as well.
