LOL! I for one do not blame Susan. I blame Jeff for taking her serious.
I can almost hear Susan's sales pitch to Jeff at the Expo of how bad our site was(Because we did not agree with her). Too bad Susan was wrong about T. Schivo(sp) her first big cause here at NM. I never blamed Schivo's parents but the whack jobs like Susan that promoted the wrong agenda for that poor woman. Did you ever apologize to her husband Susan ?
I know that you do good work and your city job and it sounds cool so maybe you should concentrate on that, at least you can't hurt anybody there.
Good job on your Katrina effort too I understand you have helped a lot of ppl.

Isn't it obvious to you the changes that have occured here in the last several weeks?
I have noticed a significant decrease in the number of posts, other than that tho... not really.

NM is not a happy place now.
Happiness is an individual decision. It's a choice as to whether you want to be happy here or not.
I for one will say that I DO blame Susan for changing NM,and I hope she is happy.
So you agree with me that Susan MUST be one extraordinary woman to have pulled off such a thing! I understand that some men(and some women) are quite intimidated by strong women.

As I said above I really haven't noticed any significant changes other than the decreased number of people posting here. Which is why I stated I disagree with the idea that fighting/soaps/feuds are what made NM such a popular place.
Do I like it here? Yeah, it's okay. It's never been my favorite place to post and still isn't.
Did you like the good old place?
*shrug* It had certain elements to it that were fun and some elements that were far less desirable. It's like an old girlfriend... what was was and never will be again. There's no point to living in the past.
Some parts yes and some no.
The fights and attacks around here were just part of the unique atmosphere.
What you consider to be 'unique' others considered to be deliberately hateful and intolerant.
Saint Susan decided we needed to be "sanitized" so she started her sneaky crap.
I doubt Susan considers herself a Saint... well as I remember she's not much on the God idea.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by being "sanitized"? From my understanding Susan was one of those who was less than thrilled by the hateful intolerant attitude. So if you mean that she wanted to have that part toned down as much as possible then I would agree with you. She as others felt the place needed to be "sanitized" of that attitude.
I would disagree with your characterization of her behavior as 'sneaky crap'. She is/was under no requirement to notify any of the board members what she and the owner of this site discuss. It's Mr. Leonards board to do with as he sees fit. He is under no requirement to discuss any changes or discussions he has with any member of this board or not.
She is no better than any one of us, and she took it upon herself to change things.
I believe Susan would agree with you that she is no better than anyone else here. She did take action on what she considered to be a problem. That's also called initiative, which in most cases is considered a good thing. Anyone else is free to advocate for changes as they see fit for this board.
She buddies up to people, and then shits on them.
While I've noticed that attribute in others I've not personally seen in it in Susan.
