Dan and I used to have respectful arguments. I welcomed arguing with him because I had to be sure that I had the proof behind what I stated. I had to research my position to be sure I was clear what I wanted to say. If you checked how I rated Dan long ago I gave him a 5. Something changed. The ad hominem attacks began and never let up.

I beg to differ. This paragraph shows exactly why you wanted one of the rules changed and quoting sources enforced. You felt you would then gain some kind of superiority. Yes, I wanted the rule changed as it made no sense. Even if a newspaper gave you permission to quote according to the rules you could not. Jeff said he didn't mind if you quoted - then why have the rule?
