I saw the movie last weekend. I'm not a comic book fan or anything, but I've enjoyed all of the movies. I was kind of bummed because two of my favorite characters were killed off rather early, but in general it was a good movie. I always appreciated the fact that the Professor was such a capable strong character. The concept was very interesting, trying to rid the world of the mutents, or people who are different...kind of like Hitler or maybe George Bush...LOL.

The ending was really cool and be sure you wait until all of the credits have finished!

I'd recommend it especially if you are an X Men fan.

Not my pick but we saw it. I definitely thought about "the cure" in the mind set of a disabled person but with the exception of the character who couldn't touch anyone and thefemale lead who couldn't control her powers, I would be offended at such a cure. In my current situation my disability is just that a "DISability" not an advantage, I'd be lined up for a miracle cure to take away my disadvantages.

I wish I didn't read this before seeing the movie.

I was warped.

Warped Miss Liz?
I was wondering what you meant?

Hope you enjoyed it anyway.

I read this thread prior to seeing the movie and all I thought about was this "underlying" meaning when I would never have given such deep thought to this kind of flick. So I was warped.

I was a huge fan of the first two movies underlying meanings and all, went to see the last stand thought it was a bit of a let down really as I felt that the plot was a little shallow (in my opinion anyway)
