Has he been seen by a urologist who's had experience working with SCI folks? My urologist was on top of that topic from day one when I began discussing with him sexuality following my injury.
I'm not sure what, if anything, can be done to cope with it. If he wants to father a child, there are other ways and means to extract the semen. If he just wants to ejaculate because us guys like to do that, then chances are he's out of luck. But the main question is how does he know he's ejaculating back into the bladder? What level is he and is he getting adequate stimulation that enables him to ejaculate?

Hmmm...Lets see... a sudden sensation of having an orgasm with no ejaculation or erection. I guess I'm having a hard time finding out what the problem is. I can think of a lot of things that could be worse.
From what I know retrograde ejaculation is when the cum goes into your bladder. I've heard that the stuff can be detected by checking the urine and if I remember correctly I read that they have tried to get some of the sperm out to see if it can get a lady pregnant. I'm not sure if there have been any viable children from it or not.
I know you said this quad dude didn't want kids, but that's what I've heard about it all.

Only about 6-8% of men with SCI ejaculate. Less than half of these have retrograde ejaculation. I can't believe there would be a urologist who would not know about retrograde ejaculation. It commonly occurs in AB men following prostate surgery as well.
Retrieval of retrograde ejaculated sperm for use in ART has been around for a very long time. I know that one man and his wife that I counseled about this, and helped to find a urologist for them to work with now have an 18 year old son who was conceived this way. It is not uncommon to be able to achieve a pregnancy if you have retrograde ejaculation and have a decent sperm count.

This is the internet, most medical information is now online just do some searching and be sure to check the sources. Having said that I recently discussed my sexual function with a doctor after having intense bladder spasms following the making of a video in December.
Not sure about the retro-ejac thingy though I dont cum every time I used to say that was the reason I didn't show any evidence of cuming after a lady polished my knob. "Yeah I came just inside baby"

As far as info goes, in rehab an attempt by the VA to talk about sexuality issues with me was made but to be honest, I wasn't hearing it. you might be talking about me, but i'm still with my wife...and the dude. they know about each other. i've been this way since way before lady gaga's song...FWIW. i did the same shit as an able bodied dude, even in high school. i tried being only queer but it didn't take.
i know that some people think bisexuals have no place being in a relationship with anyone, but i'm glad that my wife and my FB see it differently.

The rehab that I was at there was a girl there that I was flirting with quit a bit.She was cute.The day I had left the rehab I had got her number and lost it sometime after.I don't know why I didn't give her mine.I also wasn't all the ready to do much after I got home.Really didn't like the body brace.
I am sure she still works there.

my body brace didn't stay on for the whole trip home from the hospital.
it may have been at powerquad now that i think of it but it has been tossed around here a time or two. the guy i had been hanging with long-term died and it generated quite a discussion...lots of condemnation. 'your poor wife shouldn't put up with your sh1t!'
but, yes, i still enjoy the lovin'. so you could say that i love lovin' the love....and occasionally even some discomfort but i wouldn't go there..

bustin nuts hurts so f'in bad...not even ad status...worse! i get this fuckin pain up the back of my neck on the right side that gives me an instant migraine. like someone curb stomped the back of my head! Then it takes like 2hrs for it to go away. Bustin loads is relatively new for me hoping it gets better before it fuckin kills me. Tryin to make a baby... How could you not want to when this is what you have at home...
