This isn't mine. A quad boy gave a speach at a Spinal Cord clinic and wanted this to catch on. It pertained to him having to act like a polar bear for an acting class. I thought it was corny, but my boyfriend and I say it all the time now.
Hear about the quad that went to the house of ill repute? The Madame answers the door bell and says " what can you possibly do in this place?" To which he replies....

When I was in rehab they had a couple of those "peer group" sessions that was supposed to help us all accept everything and realize that life would go on...
There were experienced para's and quads who were very comfortable with themselves, well adjusted, and really nice people. A couple of the quads were young guys who had been in rehab (roomates) together a few years before. They started telling us how they used to set in bed at night and think of good jobs for quads. Some of them were really hilarious. I can only remember a couple of them, but here they are...

Anybody see "Last Comic Standing" Tuesday? Josh Blue who has CP was on and made the cut. When asked if he was nervous getting up in front of so many people, he replied, "No, I'm used to people staring at me." He was good.
