I'd read it all but I'm too lazy right now. LOL Same here Michele, I keep missing a couple + of pages and am too much of a Slackass to catch up. Like right now, I clicked on the subject line, only to see it jump from page 6 ( when I last had a nosey) to 10 lol. Darn, I only post on the Slackass thread if its near the top as I am too lazy to search for it :p ...so thats pretty tellin' lol.

Originally posted by Dee L.: Originally posted by dashing: In general, I do think a different thread should have been started before it became a forum for those who will never see eye to eye swayed it so off topic. I feel I contributed and am guilty. Though, I bet paradude is getting a good laugh. This is exactly what he thrives on. His physical abilities, "motivational speaking", while berating others confounds me as much as those who constantly feed his ego. He, so quick to critise certainly isn't fault free. He says he doesn't speak to promote anything pro helping the disabled. His main claim to fame is overcoming his drug (bad enough he admitted on the BD to shooting coke b/tween his toes) and alcohol addiction. But, at the same time has let pressure sores get bad enough for surgery. His personal attack about Susan is how this thread went astray. He was relentless in chasing Susan around this board to pick on. I could possibly respect him if he could see further then what benefits himself or gives him cheap thrills and he didn't try to play puppet master on NM. I would venture a guess this site is about the only connection he has w/ anyone physically disabled. dash edit; this is my opinion hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - but at the same time you can consider joyt your friend - and ignore the totally "mean and evil" way she treats others on here (not once but over and over again). Explain that to me if you can, please. I enjoy reading your posts - your experiences over the years are really interesting to me but am baffled that you can consider someone like that a friend. Someone that so totally "shits" on certain people, in the worst way.
I know you'll all probably think that I have no business saying this but what she does has bugged me for a long time.
JB - hope you have a great time tonight, as you usually do!!!
Merry - as I'm sure you know, having a "the tag team" against you is actually a good thing, better than them being your "friends"
Dee
edited to say: Susan, I hope all is well with you and I do miss reading your posts. From having talked to you a bit, I know you are a great mother and there's nothing more important than that! I agree with what dashing has to say. In fairness to pretty much anyone here. I think it's smarter to suspend any judgment as long as you can, and untill you've read A LOT and mean really a lot of the persons posts before you judge them. I've known paradude (know of, is closer to the truth) maybe 8 years but I've read much less than half of what he's posted. lately I've been trying to quit saying anything negative about anyone. But sometimes it's important to stick up for people who are wrongly being harrassed or judged.
Maybe dashing simply hasn't read as many of the negaitve post you're talking about posted by joyt.
Missunderstanding rules this board. Along with egomanian and plain old selfishness and self centered thinking. I consider that a fact. But it's still a place I can feel usefull and get some feedback to help me with my charactor flaws WE ALL GOT EM!! that never seem to fully go away.
Robert.
PS, It's still fun to call PD a prick with ears and other funny insults though, sometimes. I mostly think we need to quit taking the dude so seriously. Don't let him get under your skin or ignore his posts, and he becomes pretty powerless.

tucker carlson has a southern twang? robs accent is soo much like joe pescei(sp?)...without the nasally voice.
i only have a problem with one person here...shrug Hmmm, Now that I really ponder about it. I can't say I have anger or problems with anyone here. Sometimes myself when I don't take my time to write a post. Sometimes I get worried about my manualy dexterity and balance, the balance problem keeps getting more and more infuriating, possibly due to some undiagnosed degenerative disease. Not enough worry to make a doctors appointment. I'm so fed up with doctors apointmes n hospital time.....yadda yaddda blah blah blah. I know I'm not the only one. On the upside, my hands are super fast deu to catching stuff as it slides off my lap for so many years.
Dyslexia is a fukin bitch! I really have to concentrate, and I also have to slow down so I don't skip words. I think faster than my fingers can type, I probably have ADD too according to my last romance. She's a very well educated FNP (family nurse practitioner. Unfortunately she can't work any more. I'm sure she could help people kinda like the way Splinter does.
I think life just sucks sometimes and we have to accept it.

forgive me. i read very little on this thread.
those who attack susan, step up and do half what she does in the real world for whatever you believe in or STFU. i'm sick of the sniping bullshit that makes us, yes us, a minority at the voting box rather than the majority we are.
i don't have time to hardly post any more or keep up with posts. but bitchin at susan is stupid.
