um... sorry to interrupt again, but the last 4-5 posts were pure DISTRACTION again. i thought this thread was all about dowdy and his upcoming surgery...

I am a little confused by his response I quoted here cuz I didn't see any negative posts before he said this but I also haven't kept up with a lot here so maybe it makes sense?
I think this board does care though and does come together when needed. Well, the people I mean

Uh..Hopw I can step in here for a moment. Dowdy, just want you to know that I've told Sam about you, and you have our prayers and best wishes.
There is always hope, please remember that. No matter what the MDs say, they don't know everything, and plenty of folks recover beautifully when they were offered very little hope at all. I've seen lots here at rehab, and hope the same happens for Sam at some point, though what we have so far is miracle enough.
We go home tomorrow. After 7 months, I honestly had began to wonder if we ever would. Please let us know how you are doing..and that you're recovering .

There were comments addressed to me in the thread I linked above (addressing Merry) that were generally insulting to people with CP.
