I hope Dowdy the best! I, too, will have it done when my condition worsens. My doc & I have decided ta wait since it can be done at any time, even after U lose sensation. I know of one woman that couldn't move her hand/arm & she had it done & is fine. I will be thinking of U! ,,,joe..

Dowdy, I know you've been dealing with this pain for a long time. I sincerely hope that not only that the surgery goes well, but that you get some relief after you heal from it. I'm kind of hoping that you'll be somewhere near me in Maryland on your next trip to the states!

I know that hospitals and surgeries are horrible things to consider, but if it will relieve your suffering it will all be worth it. Stay strong Dowdy, we will think of you and pray for a speedy recovery.

wow. 6 weeks in a semi-conscious state. sounds like me last summer. no, but really...australian girls, to me, seem attractive. so, the nurses must be too. there's something. even if you're heavily medicated, you might get lucky.
seriously, you're quite courageous to do this. it does take guts. i'm proud of you dowdy and of course i hope the procedures help a lot.
now then, how bout that wine...? j/k.
