I hadn't heard of any of the fellow nominees in his category, but there are others who were nominated or won in other categories people may know or have benefited by their work - winners: Joni Eareckson-Tada, Michael Bonninger (CAT), Medtronic Foundation, Stanley Sigan (Cingular Wireless), Lisa Thorson, James Shepherd (Shepherd Ct), Gordon Mansfield (PVA), Bob Kaftka (ADAPT), Rep. James Langevin, Joe Shapiro (No Pity), Barth Green (Miami Proj. to Cure Paralysis, Lex Frieden (TIRR), and a few others. It was an amazing event to be a part of with so many truly outstanding people.
