I'm glad to hear you are home. My guess is you are waiting for some granulation tissue to grow prior to the flap? I was 1st sent to a secondary care facility where I felt I was living in the movie, "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". I then found I could get the care needed at home and escaped. It all sounds similar to how I finally healed when I had flap surgery.
Try to find somethig to look foreward to everyday. It could just be a movie or something special for dinner. It is hard now but, you should be back living your life soon. This is really the hardest part when the skin is open and you're waiting. You are on your way to healing. Best wishes from one of your slack minions, dash
