Loc: Nebraska 		Just took my 10 year old aussie in for a (hopefuly) fat tummor on his eye. Will know mid week after the bi-opsie. Ended up rushing in my 16 year old maine coon cat, because a un-noticed abscess busted on her hind leg, to find out the lump on her neck was a very agressive tumor that had already partialy eaten away 2 vertebrae. Atleast it made the choise easier, knowing she was in pain.

PPS. Why can't I have one pet in my life just go to sleep, never to wake? Don't worry folks, I know it was the right thing to do. She was saying good-bye for the week previously.

I'm in SC... I am originally from Ohio, where they were plentiful also.

Here in SC, they look right puny. :p You have to really cultivate them to get them to grow, and it's considered a real art. (I haven't seen any here, except in professional gardens and arboretums.)

you had no choice. Here in South Carolina azaleas are damn near a prerequisite if starting a flower garden. :p they're everywhere!
