I agree that the Repubs are doing serious damage control. That are attempting to salvage votes left in their base.
Limbaugh, Hannity, all right-wing radio and Fox are working furiously to convince the base that they should still vote.
They won't say it, but they know Romney will lose. At this point they seem to be trying to convince the base to vote, so they don't completely tank in the Congressional races. Of course that can't be said, but that is what they are doing.
Ann Romney was on Fox tonight and the far right is on overdrive, playing to the base. They know they've lost the indies, the Dems and many Repubs. All they can salvage now is the base, and urge them to vote so the House and Senate races don't go heavily for Democrats
