It is unbelievable that NM is closing its message board. Since I don't use Facebook I will no longer have contact with NM. Thanks to all my friends here over the years, their support and all. I will still check in at PQ from time to time. These times they are a changin'. Goodby friends and all. Paul:-)

No it isn't. If NM wants to become a credible source for those with disabilities, they sure don't need a messageboard that is more than a fight fest than a disability resource. NM & CureCure used to be the big dogs online. Now they have a lot of competition. Time to dump this junk.

You may be right Flicka. I never looked to NM for disability info, but only for socialization mainly so those who need special disability info and backup may find it better on Facebook. I hope so if that is where they are going. Best to you all. Paul
Flixx is correct. The good old "Patio" days are long gone. I met some really good people here and this place was a wealth of information for me. I found out that quads, like myself can live independently and have relationships.

I think Facebook and other social media pretty much killed all message boards, and this one, having been on borrowed fumes for a while now, was especially vulnerable to progress. Like a clock, everything eventually moves forward. This place is no different.
