I think it's a magnet for fraud. Also. as one contemplates "being disabled" one falls into a mindset of being so.
I recall when I lived in RI that the State retirement board went looking for what the disabled retirees were doing. Florida, where they considered themselves safe from observation turned up many of them on the golf courses obviously trying to work out their debilitating back problems.
Human nature, unfortunately, being what it is requires SS to run continuous reviews. How does one suddenly become disabled when unemployment runs out? Shouldn't flags go up? And how about the doctors that document this?

Oh you all can rationalize and theorize and pull out the logical and oh so newest scientific polls on the subject but we all know that the unemployed have nothing better to do than mess around on or with their significant other (we'll leave the singles out of this and just say that the best way to pass the time away is by having sex....however it happens).
What is the quickest way to spring a coil in the old mattress...I mean, back? well, both? Just have sex when you're not use to getting any [working folk don't have time for such luxuries]. And..................
to the doctor they go (because, HEY, EVERYBODY HAS INSURANCE NOW!) for their temporary handicap permit cus they can't walk with their bad backs. They can still have sex like crazy monkeys but they won't tell the doc that) and one week turns into two...and then a month and then, they truly can't walk cus they what?...they got no motivation to...no reason to beat the path for a non-existent job under Obama's watch...his....HOPE & CHANGE...FOR...AMERICA.
And it's funny human nature should be brought up (hopefully a few other things get brought up as well during the time off having all that sex) because those who get use to Obama's extension of the food stamp program and the continuing rise of gas prices putting a damper on getting out there, anyway,.....well.............
I think we can reasonably and safely say that the rise in those filing for SSI & Disability is a thing of the future..............under Obama.
