If you're looking for your cheapest option, you need to be looking at stair lifts vs. elevators. An elevator can cost tens of thousands of dollars versus a stair lift which can be easily purchased under $2,000. A lot of companies sell used stair lifts that work just as well as a new stair lift for significantly less money. Look into used stair lifts in your area or online.
