Prophecy and signs are boiling in the middle east. Jesus said He would make Jerusalem a cup of trembling for all the world in the final days. Looks as if it is starting to get very hot in that region. Keep looking up, Jesus said our redemption is drawing near. Even Israel who God has let win previous wars will reach a point where Jesus said to not gather any possessions but to run to the hills for protection when they see the abomination that makes desolate. Many think this is when the anti christ who tries to rule the world goes into the temple into the holy place where the Ark of the Covenent had rested and declares that he is God. Then destruction is cut loose. For the first three and one half years the anti-christ declares a seven year peace on the region and Israel flourishes in safety and peace and is allowed to rebuild the Jewish temple which they are now fully prepared to do at a moments notice. For many who are watching Jesus will rapture His church at the time the anti-christ is revealed on earth or just before. OK it is just my opinion.

Paulwa, you made this same prediction a few years ago, and you know how that worked out. People have been looking for signs of the end times for nearly 2000 years and hundreds of times someone thought it was imminent.
You're just going to embarrass yourself again if you're making another false prophecy.

Ghoti I did not set any date, month or year. Not a prophecy but just following what has been prophesied by the bible.
Inkblister I think maybe Einstein said time travels at the speed of light. Could he be right?

The Temple has to be rebuilt first, though, and I don't see that happening any time soon. There's a Mosque sitting on that spot these days.

There is some proof Ghoti that the mosque is sitting on what is called the court of the Gentiles. The place where Jews believe the ark of the covenant sat in the holy of holies is outside this area and the entire temple could sit alongside the mosque without disturbing it. Islam holds control over the temple mount right now and won't allow any action on the temple mount to occur by Israel. Some say the anti christ will manage a seven year peace treaty and allow Israel to build their temple.

What gets forgotten all the time is that prophecy has often been made sure.
The Word of prophecy is confirmed by experience. (the vision on the mount)
The two go together, I think.

It is also believed that the Ark in in a church in Ethiopia. Also from Ethiopia are Jews believed to be the remnants of the 12th, the lost tribe.
I find it difficult to believe a prophecy is being fulfilled when a bunch of fundamentalist Protestants go over there with plans and money to convince everyone to rebuild the temple. Trying to create a fulfillment, to me, would be a false fulfillment like trying to personalize the antichrist.

The prophecy doesn't say how it would be fulfilled, only that it would happen and does say at times who would be involved. Maybe the prophecy took what you are saying into account Paul.

In order for a prophecy to be declared true, it should state clearly what is being predicted to happen and then all parts of it must actually come to pass. Most of the so-called "true prophecies" of the Bible are worded very vagely or crypitcally and can be read in multiple ways.
There is no "right" way to read the Bible, BTW, since most of the multiple Christian and Jewish denominations even have major disagreements in interpretations. That's the main reason there are over 100 separate Christian sects world-wide.

Not to mention insulting as hell. Most Jews living in Israel do not accept Jesus as the Messiah they are waiting for. Also, around 20% of Jews living in the State of Israel claim to be athiest.
It amazes me that the Christians working toward self-fulfilling prophecy think it's okay to insult Jewish beliefs by claiming their (Jews) eyes will be opened to the truth.
