Good article. Why do we humans push everything to the limit?

Around and about the area I live in, the golf course greens go dormant or such in the summer...they don't water cus it pretty much stays green and that's cus, I've heard, they overseed with some kind of rye(? I think) seed grass in the fall to keep the grounds green...it does turn brown as ours were ugly this summer but seem to be picking up now in color. Maybe it was an exceptional summer this year but I saw no watering done.

Good for you Aevory, unlike others who watch golf tournaments for Tiger Woods scandal updates you are paying attention. Every PGA event I watched this summer discussed course water conservation matters at some point during their broadcast.

I played winter Golf in the snow with 2 Hell's Angels when I was in Alaska. By the 6th hole or so, we had a line of traffic patiently waiting behind us. Not sure why I posted this (perhaps you can use it in your study I'm patiently waiting for) or you can draw some analogies.

So you are no longer in suspense my hypothesis was that a flippant off topic posting would get more response than a question raised in a meaningful topic only proved partially true. People are more than happy to respond to flippant comments but wrt thoughtful post, questions are seldom answered by people but most do enjoy sharing their views on controversial topics. Human nature I guess is the dominent factor plus few are willing to go out on a limb at NM because they know someone is always waiting to saw off the limb. The gotcha moment is the purpose of many.

True. Review your posts over the last few months, and it shows you live for such moments. Or can you recognize that you live for such things, as you have so eloquently articulated in the past? You are wiling to play "such games" until it doesn't go in your favor, and then you promise to leave such snobby things behind for the "benefit" of the "SCI" community of which you abhor.

Let me ask you ask you a question: Do you know when you have to shit? Can you stand up under your own power? What kind of wheelchair do you have?

I what? Talk about twisting facts to make up false claims, you'd do well working for Fox News.

I ruffle your feathers so you make a completely unsupportable accusation. Nice debate tactics.

It is easy:

I don't know when I have to shit, or piss for that matter, I cannot stand up or move my legs, and I wheel around in a Quickie TI...

See...easy.
