Posts: 5 		I was wondering if any other women have experienced this. My back was broken in 5 places, T-5 & 6 were crushed, T-11 & 12 were broken and L-1 was chipped. I bruised my spinal cord at T-5 & 6, and am an incomplete. Depending on the position I can feel sex. But if my boyfriend is on top, most of the time I can't feel anything. But on the occasion I have been able to feel sex normally. So I think my feeling comes and goes with sex. I was wondering if any other women have had this experience?

Different positions can put pressure on different nerve roots causing the areas served by those nerves to lose sensation, and conversely, other positions relieve pressure on the nerve roots, causing sensation in those areas to return.

Posts: 24 		I have to agree with you MrsD when you love someone you do put with the gross things. My boyfriend has Chrons Diease and he has problems kinda like us paras and Quads. But I love him dearly and would rather put up with his problems then be without him. He also puts up with mine so he must love me.

Yes, I know quads in their late 70s...that's kinda old. I don't think I've ever met one in their 80s, but I've met lots of quads in their 70s.

A friend of mine used to always say his motto was "live fast, die young, & leave a good looking corpse". Now we just have to shake our heads & laugh at the foolishness of our youth, knowing how silly it was for us to think life was so black & white. Never did we imagine this gray area between living fast & dying young.
