Loc: Melbourne, Australia 		so here is the story.....i love my wheelchair. it goes fast hardly anything goes wrong with the computer and tech side of it.... but my cheap $15 foot rest keeps breaking.....now why does it keep breaking? b/c im a fat shit BUT they knew that when they made it for me. "i told them i need an extra strong foot rest so i can push up on it to do things". and everytime i tell the people who pay for it "it needs to get repaired" they crack the shits and blame me for breaking it! HELLO VANILLA LADY IN THE OFFICE DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT IS PUTTING ON YOUR PANTS SITTING DOWN!?!?!?!?!

anyway my foot rest broke today so im annoyed and a lil depressed coz im most likely going to be house bound for the weekend!

Posts: 2323 		If you are relying on insurance to pay for repairs you are probably out of luck. If you can scrape up the cash, check with a local welder to see what ideas he has. I have seen a number of creative one-of-a-kind adaptive devices made by welders.

(Yes, Iknow how hard it is to put on pants sitting down because my legs won't support me at all.)

Loc: Melbourne, Australia 		Not insurance companies. its a goverment founded thing. they pay for all repairs apart from flat tyres and tubes. its pretty good but i wish they wouldnt have a go every time something breaks.
