Doesn't look very practical in that it won't fit through doors, and looks to be very difficult to transfer into or out of. On the plus side, it should go most anywhere, and the price is reasonable.

Morning Shakey, I would agree on the doorway issue with most of the larger units that start to measure out @ 37". The sm model I believe may fit through a standard 36" door with hinge modifications. As for the transfer part...You can specify which armrest you would like to have as a fold-away component as a means of transfer. As for access to unusual terrain, I've heard some pretty amazing stories and seen a few good ones as well. Thanks for your comments as they are appreciated.

Hey Trackchair Guy - Love the idea. I own a tracabout chair and enjoy the beach with it. I'm curious can it go in water and if so how deep? Also, does it have any type of suspension system, as that is one of the downfalls of my chair on cement, gravel roads etc would eat me up!

Glad to hear about the fold away armrest, as I too thought there is no way I could get into, from a para's standpoint. I have not measured my ramp to my minivan, would it fit?

Best of luck!

Mark

Morning Mark, The unit sports a full 3 1/2" ground clearance. As for suspension...I'm sure something is in the works for future independent type suspension. Currently, some of the bumps are absorbed by the spacing of the roller wheels and track. All in all it's a pretty decent ride. Depending on the model purchased, the SM 33 will measure out around 34" wide. The ST37, I was able to put into the rear of my Toyota FJ. You can see some pictures on my facebook page LosGroup Inc.

I have been on your site before.I could see myself getting one in the future for outdoor use.I am not a hunter but being able to go places that you normally could not with a regualr wheelchair would be cool.

Like what Shakey had mentioned.Fitting through a doorway would be very hard to do.But how many people would want to take it into their houses anyway? Always nice to have a garage.
