I have been around and around with my normal auto insurance company about proper insurance for my ramp van.

They insist that they will only cover any van conversions up to a $1000 limit. Are they completely out of touch with reality??

My van has the Entervan conversion, hand controls, power transfer seat and zero effort steering for starters, and as I need to change it up, I will...but seriously...$1000 limit for the conversion coverage???

I'm looking for info on who insures our vans to cover the cost of the conversions for real.

Any info would be appreciated.

Shirley

Mine is with GEICO. Just listed mods, got the quote for my listed values of the mods, and paid the premium. Total value of the mods was abt $28k on my policy.

Geico for me also. Didn't list my conversions, just that it was modified. I don't see any riders.
