Dark matter is just matter we can't see. What did you think it was?

It goes back to my point of defining "nothing" as something and as einstein was to newton, understanding of dark matter (and dark energy) will lead to large advancements in cosmology, what is really what this thread is about, right?

Nothing is no thing. Dark matter and gravity are things or caused by things no matter how you try to push God from the picture, He is creator of all. Just what I think but He probably formed evetrything from pure energy of which He has an abundance.

"He probably formed evetrything from pure energy of which He has an abundance."

What do you base this mumbo jumbo on?

Paul, it is frustrating and time wasting to have this discussion with creationists as I could offer piles of logical arguments and proof to counter what you believe while all you have is your subjective opinion based on your faith.

When the Lord comes we will sit down and discuss the error of your thinking. Till then I got nothing to argue about Greg. Continue your secular scientific studies. :-)

Nope we won't, at least if I were to believe your earlier claims, you will be on the up elevator, while people who believe as I do will be on the down elevator.

"This is the judgment of unbelievers in which they are judged according to their works and sentenced to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire."

and you really believe this?

Revelation 20:11–15
The Dead Are Judged

11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Yes, every word of it, Greg. It is the one point I disagree with Jack Van Impe on. He claims the earth will never disappear and will abide forever. This scripture plainly says for a time it will vanish and Jack never mentions this scripture. All in all he is technically right in that the refurbuished earth will abide forever after the white throne judgement. You don't believe this will happen as described, Greg?

No Paul, I have no reason to buy into such a judgemental view of religiosity. It is beyond me to say what/if anything will occurr after I leave this life but your words and the countless others you parrot all ring hollow for me.

I just hope your faith is based on giving you peace of mind and not out of a vindictiveness towards your fellow man or found at the bottom of a bottle of Jack Daniels.

Can't even remember my last alcoholic drink, Greg, but it has to be many decades ago. I am at peace but it disturbs me to see what is coming on this planet. It has decided to eliminate its creator and so God stands back and releases His control on the forces bent to destroy the planet and its people just as they have asked. That is why evil is running rampant more and more these days. God takes care of His own who are dedicated to Him and those caught up in disasters are brought home to Him. Many though go on to perdition to await judgement day. Natural calamities will increase because He is not there to stop them and protect. Yes to you this sounds totally crazy but you will know one day it is very exact and precise and you will know why it happened.
No this doesn't come from the bottom of a Jack Daniels bottle but it does come from studying God's word for my lifetime and the witness of His Spirit in my life.
