People are afraid of change even when the current way of doing things is failing. Obama is change. Even folks who voted for him didn't realize he would actually change things like he said he would.
Shifting government responsibility to the middle class and the poor and away from big business is shaking people up - especially big business.
Obama is doing what he said he would do and people aren't used to a politician following through.

Bush was a progressive and he was on course, Obama is strong progressive and is going overboard causing Americans to become furious and will sweep the progressives out of office once and for all. Let them go home to their communist oriented cvountries. Americans have bigger fish to fry like invasion by Mexico and Muslim fanatics using peaceful Islamists and our constitution to beat us over the head. It uis going to be hard sorting enemies and criminals out of this invading mess and dealing with a communist government set on destroying the economy of our country. underslungs? like Edward R Murrow, think way, way back to 1954 and his documentary on McCarthy. Do you mean infiltraitors like Groucho Marx or the America Civil Liberties Union who McCarthy described as "a front for, and doing the work of,' the Communist Party".
It is understandable, I guess, how you could admire McCartheism as your approach and attitude towards "foreigners" and filthy non-Christains are similar.
