Clinton raised taxes on the wealthy and the deficit disappeared while the economy boomed. Bush cut taxes on the wealthy and the deficit exploded while the economy tanked. The economy is more complex than that, but there's a lesson there.

I didn't vote for him and take no credit or anything else from what he does. He is destroying whether by chance or by thought. I don't know how honest he is but I do know he lies. I don't like him personally because of his political views and what he wants to do to this country in spite of his so called popularity and great speach making. All those who do not like his agenda will work to remove him and his people at the ballot box. Just hope we find someone without progressive agfenda's to take over and drag us from the brink. I am not sure it will be possible. No I don't claim him as my personal presidential choice by any means and don't think I ever will.Though I had hoiped he might change his agenda and put America first...he hasn't! Is that America that was for the last hundreds of years the same America that stole half a continent from its inhabitants, that killed with brother against brother to be able to own slaves, that invaded Viet Nam and Iraq probably because someone told two presidents that a war will guarantee re-election? A country where poor people just die for lack of health care and substandard living conditions. Believe what you want but the USA may finally be beginning to overcome its need for violence. A lot of the soldiers coming home see things a lot differently than before they left.
Thank God he is trying to change America.
