If you think that I've done something wrong then give me a chance to correct it before you condemn me,
You've shown your arrogance in speaking for God. I'm not you or God. It isn't my place to "condemn" you, or speak for God. Or yours but obviously, you have forgotten that. People who "know what God thinks" fly planes into buildings and park themselves by the funerals for Veterans. My tolerance for both kinds of "Holy rollers" is minimal. My opinion though, is this, based on your posts as I do not know you: you've lost something along the way. What that something is, I'm not privy to. That is your business. I think you know better than to say what God is ok with or not.
You're sounding more and more like a television Evangelist.

Ronnie, I've asked you this several times now but you haven't answered - what exactly do you hope to accomplish by posting here? Are you trying to convert people to your beliefs or are you just trying to stir up controversy?
You do realize, I hope, that just coming here and making bold statements about your beliefs while disrespecting those of others will not convince anyone. If you want to stimulate discussion of your interpretation of spirituality you need to understand that we are adults who have mostly worked out views that we feel work perfectly well for ourselves and are not much interested in being converted.

Signs, like signs that tell you what direction you are headed, as in navigation, sure He's okay with that, it's one of the reasons we have the heavenly bodies. Also they are for seasons, and for days, and for years. But they're not the signs of the zodiac. That's an abomination to God.
"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction" 2 Peter 2:1 If you think that I've done something wrong then give me a chance to correct it before you condemn me, Why should you get a chance when you are so quick to condemn?
On second thought, forget it.

It does not say to read your horoscope and to plan things around the movement of the stars. Astrology was a different animal in Jesus time than it is today. But you are wrong in thinking we aren't supposed to plan things around the movement of the 'stars'(planets). The magi followed a wandering star to find the baby Jesus.

No astrology wasn't different in Jesus' time. And the wise men followed a sign that God placed in heaven.

There is none. Ron is imagining something that isn't there.
Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
And the wise men followed a sign that God placed in heaven.

Using the stars to tell time is acceptable, but, using the stars to draw up the signs signs of the zodiac isn't acceptable to the Lord. The sign that you are born under means absolutely nothing. But I'll guarantee you this, lies and deception have crept into your life if you pay heed to such rubbish as your horoscope.

Planting crops according to the moon & planets was one of the original purposes of the zodiac. The practice is still used by farmers. The zodiac is also a system used for coordinates...still in use to a certain extent.
Ronnie, do you think astronomy is a sin, also?

I don't know if astronomy is a sin, and I doubt if planting based on the patterns of the sky is a sin because the stars are for seasons and etc.
Ghoti, I am simply posting what I believe to be the truth.
