Sorry if this sounds like a slam cause it is only meant as an observation, the US always seems to have issues with maintaining their technoligical infastructure, airports, roads, schools, damn/levies, oil rigs/pipelines, harbours, rail system, electrical grid. Look at other well off technolgical countries and they are willing to spend money on upkeep. Maybe cause europeons and others have been at it longer than the states and have seen the cost of neglect.
It maybe a good thing the US stays away from more reliance on nuclear power.
Not taken as a slam by me.
We have a heavy burden on our systems, no doubt about it. We have a large population and the demands for service is great. Our Government is under enormous stress.
I disagree when it comes to Nuclear power though.
