Glenn Beck's Terrorist Follower Tries To Kill Liberals
Suspected Groveland, California terrorist, Byron Williams, told authorities, according to a report published in the San Francisco Chronicle, that he was going to the ACLU and to the Tides Foundation in San Francisco, to kill liberals.
(Williams was stopped by the California Highway Patrol on Saturday night, mere blocks from my home, for weaving in traffic, while en route to San Francisco. He was heavily armed with high-powered armor-piercing weapons, was wearing a bullet-resistant vest, and engaged the three police officers in a twelve minute gunfight. He is currently in custody and facing multiple attempted murder charges in Oakland, California.)
The conservative kook wanted to ignite a violent revolution, by attacking people he hated. But why did he target the obscure Tides Foundation?, an organization even most liberals wouldn't recognize. Salon.com has an excellent piece that sheds light on the mystery:
Salon reports that the right-wing lunatic fringe, people like Byron Williams, are being fed weekly propaganda, smears and lies about the Tides Foundation, and other liberal groups, by none other than Glenn Beck, of Fox TV.
A photograph is posted at Salon.com of the demented Beck drawing the name of the Tides Foundation on a large marker board, as he stares maniacally at the camera, with arrows connecting conspiratorially in every direction to other progressive organizations, during one of his shows--watched by millions of his fellow fanatics.
Many Americans have repeatedly warned that demagogues and mad ranters like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly, were inciting their followers to riot, promoting violence and spreading hate and fear across the land.
Now, we've seen the very real consequences of their acts. Terrorists like Williams, who listen to Fox TV, froth at the mouth, get their guns, then go out and try to kill innocent Americans.
Add this to Beck's other list of accomplishments, such as racebaiting political figures, extolling the virtues of a Nazi author Beck has been reading lately, fanning the flames of resentment against weaker members of society, and making crude anti-Semitic remarks on national television, and it is deadly clear that this vicious and despicable man must be fired.
If Beck is not fired, and continues to preach hate, then other crazed conservatives are sure to follow in the footsteps of Byron Williams--only next time, we may not be lucky enough to catch them before they kill.

Thou shalt not kill unless it is by name-calling, and then, liberals by far outweigh the whole pack in killing....killing sprees, even. Ronda, you honestly think liberals kill more people than conservatives? Hell, the most extreme liberals (who I don't agree with) think we should disarm everyone, even though that would clearly be a violation of the second amendment.
There have been an awful lot more right-wing extremists who have decided to use their guns or bombs to kill people than left-wingers, and idiots like Beck give them encouragement.
