now everyone can take a look at how my raw skin looks like. ( excpet that is doesn't till the vagina, it is on the rectal area ).

I guess aging does have its positive points! My youngest chid (now 35) developed a staph infection in her navel as a newborn. It went through her blood stream and popped out as boils all over her body. Thankfully, my mother was there to help me because we had to bathe her in epsom salts solution every 2 hours and give her oral/topical antibiotics. It was either that or put her back in the hospital. I thought that insane because the hospital is where the infection came from in the first place.

Anyway, I've been investigating fungal/blood borne infection forever. It's much easier to not have to go to a library to refresh my memory...

Now to find the proper remedy...

Loc: SLO County, CA - 66.122.77.142 		Yikes! I see now why doctors don't pay much attention to it. According to this site many doctors don't believe that yeast proliferations happen in the intestines!? Many of them consider it a "fad" diagnosis.

thank you so much for replying.

the raw skin looks almost exactly like the pic ( more surroundind the rectal area, though, not vagina ), but the nurses and doctor seem to think it is due to irritation from constant exposion to peepee and poo.

BUT i do have a tendency to develop yeast in my body, i don't know why, and why they are dissmissind this. i have had many, many yeast infections in my bladder, vagina and even in my lungs.

i wonder if the raw skin is yeast, too...

Loc: SLO County, CA - 66.122.77.142 		I remember when they discovered your bladder was full of yeast! In reality, it could be still only in your bladder and being spread to your anus area when your bladder spasms during your bm.

I hate it when doctors refuse to acknowledge possibilities.

Posts: 5944 		exactly! and i have had another nasty yeast unfection in my bladder not long ago and my bladder still bothers me a bit. the peepee containing yeast could me passing through my rectal area and contaminating it with yeast.

this theory makes sense!!

i;ve been in bed all this tie but will have to get up on wednesday to go see the nurse practitioner at my uro clinic. i will discuss this with her.

the others do think it's just irritation from pee and poo.

but i broke a rib the other day... when it rains it pours!

the raw skin is getting better and i am very happy/relieved about that!

now i have a new problem to deal with .... a broken rib and inflammed muscles who are putting me to the test on how much pain i can put up with....

yesterday i was in the hospital for a procedure in my SP catheter and i told them how much pain i was in. they took a chest X ray and couldn't find anything.

the doctos have no idea what it is.... i go see my PCP the 13th that is if i don't go to the ER sooner.

i am on my wits end. this pain has made me cry, which is very unusual for me.

Posts: 155 		I'm happy that your skin is healing, but so sorry that you are in pain again from something else, and that the doctors haven't been able to do anything for it.

I hope that it gets better by itself soon, whatever it is, but if it gets worse, or if you start having any additional symptoms, you should call your doctor right away, and if you can't contact your doctor, you should go to the ER.

Stay strong Lola and let us know how you're doing.

Loc: los angeles ish 		i have two ideas, all these sound great and i hope something works for u! aquaphor "cream" the good one is clear and feels like vaseline mostly, its made for babies and adults, helps protect against moisture irritation and what not. and i SWEAR by betadine CREAM, might have to order online, its not pricey 7.00 a tube. lil goes a long way. its wonderful for healing booboos. im sorry ur hurty sweetheart <3 feel better soon <3
