I had a chance to get to the library yesterday and read the CONSUMER REPORTS article. In addition to the information in the link above, the article suggests some better and cheaper ways to get protein. (I assume the prices were from the New York area where CONSUMER REPORTS is published and could vary from region to region and season to season.)
The comparison was 1 scoop of Nitro-Tech which they say has 25 grams of protein and cost $1.61
Half a chicken breast: 27 grams protein, 62 cents
Three 8-oz glasses of milk: 23 grams protein, 60 cents
Three scrambled eggs: 20 grams protein, 46 cents (I bought a dozen eggs yesterday for $1.15 --slightly less than 10 cents each.)
