Does anyone order their medical online? Leg bags, catherals, etc. If so is the site reasonable with their prices?

I haven't ordered caths or leg bags, but from time to time I have used

http://www.qualitymedicalsupplies.com

and found them reasonable with prices and they ship free if your order is over $100.

Here is a link to their catheter page

http://www.qualitymedicalsupplies.com/page/QMS/CTGY/Catheters

I think some posters have said they got catheters on ebay, but I'm not sure.

I compared Allegro's prices to Quality's prices for the items I buy. The brands are different, but Quality's prices were cheaper in my case. This DOES NOT MEAN that would hold true for everything. I suggest you compare prices to see what works best for you.

Both companies have good prices. Better than the company I have been using. Though, the company I have been using bills the insurance directly and they only charge me for the co-pay, which makes it a very hassle free experience. Does anyone know whether Allegro or Quality Medical Supplies bills the insurance directly? I couldn't find anything on their web site related to that.

Hi Luc,

I use Heartline Medical at http://www.heartlineproductline.com/ They have a program where they bill you insurance company and "write-off" all out-of-pocket expenses.

Good luck.

I'm sure all of the companies selling urological supplies will bill Medicare/Ins. Co.

I'm sure those cited above all provide good service. I use a provider that a para I met here was a salesman for. My supplies arrive once a month and they bill Medicare and my Ins Co, I never get a bill and never have to make a payment. http://www.ccsmed.com/english/patient/products/urology.asp

When you are on Medicare & Medicaid, you aren't able to order what you want (quantity-wise) cus Medicare determines how many legbags and nightbags (other stuff?) that you are allowed per month.
