Gov. Brewer learns of Obama's plan to sue Arizona in an unusual manner.
"This is no way to treat the people of Arizona. To learn of this lawsuit through an Equadorean interview with the Secretary of State is just outrageous. If our own government intends to sue our state to prevent illegal immigration enforcement. The least it can do is inform us before it informs the citizens of another nation," said Brewer.

Looks like Eric Holder is still as sneaky as he was back in 2001 when he worked Clinton over to get a pardon for Marc Rich. Story

Regardless of how his facial hair looks, the fact that as an Asst. Attorney General, he withheld info from the Justice Dept. demonstrates, imho, that he's a sneaky bastard.
A forthcoming Congressional report on the last-minute pardons by President Bill Clinton says Deputy Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. was a ”willing participant in the plan to keep the Justice Department from knowing about and opposing” a pardon for Marc Rich, the financier.

Brewer is again looking like an idiot. The possibility has been talked about daily even before she signed the law. If the Feds DON'T SUE I'll be pissed. The AZ law is unconstitutional.

Obviously, Brewer is speaking of the "anglo" people of Arizona.
Because she obviously doesn't care how the Hispanic people of Arizona are treated.

If the Obama adminstration wants to challenge AZ's law, let them.
Duke it out!
When it comes down to brass tacks, undocumented workers ARE here illegally, and I would never stand in the way of the law. ie, deportation.
It does seem, though, that a lot (not all!) of this "anti-illegal immigrant" fervor has its roots in a desire to have the US return to what it used to be: a non-Hispanic white majority. There's a fear, I think, in some corners of the country that "America" will become "Mexico North."

just as it seems some pro immigration want to let everyone and anyone into the country without doing it legally and give them amnesty etc.. there are whackos on both sides of the immigration issue, as any issue.

I find it slightly amusing that a year ago Obama was being accused of moving too fast on too many issues. Now, he's being forced to tackle issues because of laws like the one in AZ.
