A few weeks ago I had a bad cough and lost my voice for about 2 weeks couldn't sleep but I thought I had a cold and it was just a bad one. I had no idea that one morning I was gonna stop breathing which is what happened to me because I couldn't cough up the phlem and when I did cough it up it totally blocked my airway...
Went to the ER and the doc looked me over tried to give me an inhaler and was going to send me home.. No xray or blood tests nothing.. I asked him if/when I stopped breathing again cuz it happend more then once and my brother had to bang on my back to get me breathing again, would the inhaler help in that situation he said no... So he decided to admit me because I was afraid to go home and my brother was afraid to leave me home alone when he went to work.
So they FINALLY took xrays and blood tests and found out I had a bad case of pneumonia and had low Potassium. Thank goodness I didn't go home I had 5 days of breathing treatments and antibiotics.. Still on the mend I'm soooooo tired can't shake it.
Now I'm REALLY worried I had no idea I had become so weak I had small bouts where I had trouble breathing like if wind hit me in the face I lost my breath or when laying down but it happened on and off .. I have to figure out a way to get stronger do not want this to happen ever again...
