Well, I read 'the Elk Hunt' and it was a really great read with loads of coronary technical info in with his story of quadruple bypass and elk hunting interwoven. I got his novel'the Fourth Horseman' today and am into it 21 pages so far. I knew it would be about plague or pestulence for sure. It is and takes place in the Northwest to start. I see places and towns whose names I know and some I even grew up in, but this buboniic type plague spreads across America and there is a pharmaceutical company only driven by money who somehow sits on the medicine that would cure it. An outlaw group ofscientists make up the meds and saves america at the lastminute or something like that. I am not into fiction but since Alan Nourse wrote it I will read it all in his memory because I like his writing. I should be getting his book'The Human Body' soon and am looking forward to that. Hope it has lots of drawngs and pictures with the technical writing. Paul
