Way back eons ago when I was in college (1970's), one of my political science classes was "International Relations." Each person in class represented a leader of a country - at that time most of us were in the Mideast. I was King Hussein of Jordan.
Everything we said in class was to be as the leader of the country we represented. Great way to learn the policies of a country - the public and behind the scenes stuff. Great fun.

Wow, That does seem like a very positive way of educating while role playing. Very interesting, and you have a strong memory of that. I have always agreed upon teaching on a basis of interaction, grabs students attention a bit more.
So much hate has grown since then. Its is kinda sad, the judgements people put upon groups, rather then the individuals.
