Can't imagine why anyone would want to read vampire horror stories!!! No accounting for tastes I guess. My very own daugter went through the vampire book stage..I think she is over it now she turned 50 yesterday and don't think she has read a vampire book since she was 18 or so. They would be yukkyie to me and I generally lump all fiction into that category. Can't think of any fictional book I would enjoy..yes I have read a bunch in earlier years. The same for pure fictional movies. I prefer the real stuff or based on real stuff wiith some facts included. Excluding dan Brown and his mental garbage.

i agree shakes...... all depends on tastes

best book series ever written = hardy boys, lol.....

easy reading, full of action, very descriptive, every last chapter sentence makes u want to continue

ive never read 1 where there was a boring page

adults always fluff the hardy boys as kid stuff, and yes they are kids, but they come across adult situations that are dangerous and exciting

give it a shot sometime....... if u like mystery and action, you'll like

In the past year to 18 months one of the newspapers I subscribe to has serialized both a Hardy Boys and a Nancy Drew book as part of its "Newspapers in Education" series. They printed one chapter per week. I had forgotten how much fun they were to read and found myself waiting eagerly for the next installment.

Corpus Christi Caller Times (Texas), but a Google search for "Newspapers in Education" may help you locate a newspaper in your area that also carries this feature. I believe it is nationally syndicated. If not, the website for this paper is

http://www.caller.com

I don't know if this feature is available in its online edition.
