No wonder you are devastated. I'm thinking you assigned Wab way too much power.

Devestated, power? LOL You got to tone down the superlatives. Subtle innuendo is more your schtick. Point, counterpoint with Wabi was like a Thursday night at the university pub, now it's back down to the neighbour's basement. Debating the narrow minded just doesn't hold any interest for me.

you're missing the point, they're liberals (even though Terry won't admit it) ergo, no counterpoint. I am looking for a spirited debate, band wagons don't interest me. combine that with your incipient whining, sorry "opinion" and bird dogging and it adds up to blahsville.

ohhh you want long winded blowhard explanations... so when some one counterpoints you you can say... that's not what i said. just like legislation loopholes you can float a luxury cruise ship through. both you and wab were 2 of a kind, symantics.
if you're leaving buh-bye

Go to CureCure. Sometimes there is interesting political discussion.

Symantics? interesting, for me sound bites demonstrate one lacks conviction or is just posting for show, you may know what you are implying but others may not, context adds colour and depth, have you ever really listened to Obama speak?

but stick with your one liners, I guess it suits your style

Greg -- find a real political forum.

There are plenty of them out there.

But you'd better have your best debating chops, or you'll get eaten alive.

thursday at the university pub mixed in with a HEAVY dose of the movie 'groundhog's day.' i guess you can call anything you want stimulating or intellectual. from where i sit, the political debates here seemed more like being on a treadmill than an opportunity to experience broadminded relevation or innovation. so much of it conformed to the mainstream media perspectives. idk.

but to debunk mainstream media is a good thing, no? without though, just becoming a paranoid, narrow minded, boogeyman, conspiratorist freak

take for example the whole contrived, manufactured climategate BS which for someone who works in the field I do had dire consequences

or the pimp/prostitute Acorn dog and pony show

amusing how when the "rest of the story" is brought into the light of day, the dickwads from the likes of Fox never go back and correct the record.

"the political debates here seemed more like being on a treadmill than an opportunity to experience broadminded relevation or innovation"

knowledge comes in small revelations to the curious and very small revelations to the spectator, at least it works that way for me

Do you seriously think there is/was political knowledge to be gained on this messageboard?
