Got a friend that has more and more trouble with supra cath clogging up. Was wondering if anyone here uses a certain daily flush(irrigation) mixture to help keep it washed out better.
He seems to drink plenty of fluids.

My suprapubic gets clogged from time to time. I have been irrigating 2 or 3 times per week to keep it flowing. PM me if you need more info.

Thanks JB and YS.
It's not infection. A supra cath use to last him near 4 weeks, now he is lucky to get one to last 2 weeks. It's always a guessing game the 2nd week, clogs really spike his BP fast.

PM on your way YS., ty

i think the higher the number the smaller the diameter... ask doc. if so, try the 22. i use 5cc balloon 22fr bard but i use latex with silicone coating. the clear silicone dint work for me, they r too rigid and irrutated bladder simething awful.
