general note: i found this on sexualhealth.com, a good reference for sex & dx info: Question:
I am a c5 quad and when making love my wife is always on top. She complains this hurts her legs and we don't make love very often. What if anything can we do to change this?

hi kurt! thanks for your question. having a disability that limits mobility forces many of us to be more creative in the bedroom. sounds like you have one position that works for you but it does not work for your wife so well. have you tried having intercourse in your wheelchair? she could try sitting on you with her back pressed against your chest or facing you kneeling or with her legs straddling you (of course, some of this is more difficult or easy depending upon the type of wheelchair that you have--arms removable, etc). you two can also try different positions in the shower depending upon your shower seat and the way in which your shower is set up. can you lay on your side with your wife's assistance? she may be able to prop you up with pillows so that you stay this way and then move your legs in a position so that she has access to your penis. good luck with the experimenting!!! Was so cute...he and his best friend came by here after school with 2 cute girls, then headed off to go bowling. My baby is growing up!! *sniff sniff*
Hey...I was just thinking back and a guy who used to post here who is spinal cord injured used to say that he and his wife had a lot of good times sexually when using that liberator pillow thingy...

mrsD i can come easily if i am manipulated the RIGHT WAY  and i have found very few guys that have done it right!!!
hon, go easy on your poor back until it heals. i know you wanna stay in shape, but without insurance i worry about you. how's your foot?
i am ok, recuperating from the bladder infection  thank you for asking!

well im glad ur feeling better, uve got enough pains to deal with in life <3 the work out made me feel a lot better, im sposed to work my back daily but theres days i dont care to put in the effort..but then i regret it lol ...like today :s guess ill learn my lesson the hard way :P the foot is doin a lot better than last week, a few days ago, after months of pain, i put my full weight on my foot again, and it popped really hard, since then, it hurt over nite, and felt so much better by morning, tho its popped lots b4 and i was scared it mightve been a 'bad' pop lol i think it was a good one, bc the sharp pains thru my foot are subsiding hopefully in a few wks itll be normal again. just had some of that chilli stew stuff he made.. spiiiicey!!!! its really good tho

I think being on top is a strenuous activity for us guys in chairs , but it never hurts to try. I like the aggresive woman who likes to dominate , but I also aim to please and love to explore my limits.

here is a great positional chair my exwife and I used alot.It might give you some ideas and spice up some fun.Im a c-5,6 quad and I loved this thing. Its big and bulky and no hiding it from the relatives when they come for a visit...lol

This machine was posted over on paradevo a while back. I don't recall its name. It looks promising but sits too low for me. I recall that it can glide back and forth, so that the guy can do the pumping.

Yw its awesome and gives you lots of hours to explore different things. A little expensive , but it was worth it.Of course a great standing machine like a electric one was great for experimental stuff too. Had my first O from a stand up electric chair doing the good stuff with the ex.
