The years have flown by I remember talking to Bob, Dowdy, emily, and a few other peoplw at 4am/5/6 am back then I think it was 1998. The patio was great and it was NM brightest time.

No, the patio was NMs chat room. Lorrie had a chat for awhile as did Todd. One of the chats was called dischat (I think).

NM and TQ's chatroom kept me from being totally lonely and isolated in the beginning. Sad to see it end but its been gone for a long time anyway.

Yep... and it's been that way since the self implosion...
it's a shame because this used to be "a saving grace" for me.
I hate what has happened... I guess in my old age...lol... I've
become very resistant to change.
